VISD bus rear-ended in front of Victoria West
A Victoria School District bus was struck from the the rear by a Ford Mustang early Thursday morning.
The bus was carrying 10 middle school children, all of whom were not injured in the 8 a.m. wreck, said Victoria Police Officer Shane Wallace.
The wreck occurred as the bus was heading south on U.S. Highway 87. The bus had slowed for traffic and the Mustang failed to stop in time, Wallace said.
The bus was not damaged and the driver of the Mustang was also not injured.
The wreck was cleared in about half an hour and no citations were issued, Wallace said.
