Larry Todd Hicks, 36, of Ganado, remains in critical condition at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center in Houston after a wreck a week ago involving his motorcycle and a Jackson County Sheriff's Office patrol car, a hospital spokesperson said.
Complete details of the wreck remain under investigation, said Edna Police Chief Clinton Wooldridge.
At 5:40 p.m. on May 27 in the 600 block of Apollo Drive in Edna, Hicks' 2001 Honda motorcycle collided with a 2007 Ford Police Interceptor operated by Jackson County Sheriff's Deputy Joel Price, 44.
Hicks was taken by helicopter to the Houston hospital.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is assisting the Edna Police Department in the investigation.
