  • We need to take away grants from non profits that waste money. When I lived in Dallas I knew of a certain major non profit organization that had some very wasteful spending and they received grants every year. I'm just sayin'

    This organization that shall remain nameless isn't needed IMO....I'd rather feed kids than have this organization receive grant money and waste it.

  • OK woofwoof where is the 100 grand and who is hiding it......there are a lot of non-profits that are hurting and only survive on donations and grant money.....NAMI Victoria could certainly use that grant money and it would help our entire community.....all our volunteers & services are free...........NAMI (Natiional Alliance on Mental Illness)

  • Time to tighten the bottom line. These grants come from tax dollars of working Americans, many of which have suffered income losses in excess of 16.5%. No one wants to see the needy suffer, but a review of alot of these organizations will find areas in administrative costs that could be trimed and should be trimed.
