BRYAN - Michael Oros pitched seven strong innings, but it wasn't enough to keep the Victoria Generals from losing their third straight Texas Collegiate League game.
The Generals (5-7) managed only three hits and struck out 14 times in a 3-1 loss to the Brazos Valley Bombers on Tuesday night.
Oros surrendered two runs and five hits and struck out five.
Brazos Valley (4-8) starter Alex Mills yielded one run and two hits, while striking out a season-high 10 batters in seven innings.
The Generals only run came in the seventh inning on a RBI double by Michael McGraw. It was McGraw's first hit for the Generals.
The Generals return to Riverside Stadium to play the Acadiana, La., Cane Cutters on Wednesday at 7:05 p.m.
