People arrived Saturday early to mingle and listen to music at Victoria's Juneteenth celebration.
"There was a mix of music from jazz and blues to rock, even some country," said Jurell Riggins, who helped organize the celebration this year. "Just lots of good music."
The daylong celebration took place in Riverside Park next to the Horseman's Club Rodeo arena. The event included:
A zumba exercise troupe led by Debbie Cochran.
The Rev. Jonny Todd with the Crossroads Elijas Project's inspirational speech.
A dominoes tournament sponsored by Walmart.
