Do you mean like mentioning Bridgette Bise for the next year in any story that has to do with Victoria CVB?

So Vicad, thats it? The greatest thing to ever happen to Victoria tourism (in the minds of our leaders) is going to disappear like a breeze and not a single person is curious?
No going away party? No celebration for the effort? No statue? No recognition party of any kind?
I find it quite strange for a person holding such a public position to just fade away without a single word.
Maybe there is more coming on this and we just don't have all the information yet.
I am just curious---who does the CVB belong to now? Is the notice to not renew the contract still valid since Bise is gone? Or, is Randy Vivian going to now keep the CVB under the Chamber? I think we could use some follow up on this.
Pecos--good obervation. She's got a long employment history, but when you read the accompanying announcements of her new positions, she always has fifteen years experience.
Why was this six month stint not included in her listed jobs?
So BB got the boot? Anybody know anything about this Armadillo Fest in Sept that I just saw on FB?
I wonder if she'll sell her pair of custom Street of Ten Friends boots on E-bay after she takes her boots to somewhere else.
Had to post this one more time for all the folks who bought them a nice set of those beautiful boots...
True that, jasonbourne.
You would think such a prominant spokesperson for this fantastic boot program would at least have a few words to say to their successors and a farewell for the citizens of this city.
I'm not implying anything, just questioning why a person with such an outstanding legacy in Victoria would quietly depart leaving with the Chamber President stating he could not comment beyond the press release.
I would think there would be something similar to a parade or at minimum a motion that we proclaim June 21 to be Bridgette Bise day
She is just stepping aside to spend more time with her family.
Oh well. It's only money, after all. Plenty to go around apparently.
Letter to the Editor? How's about a book called "Victoria's (dirty little) Secrets"? There's no telling what she might have stumbled upon.
"Plans call for the convention and visitors bureau to officially become a city department on Oct.1,"
$750,000 ... Follow the money ... $750,000
I bet Ms. Bise could write an interesting history of her 2 years in Victoria. Letter to the editor, maybe?
so she was asked to leave ?
how's the return on that 750k working for you ??
