A Corpus Christi man was in stable condition at Citizens Medical Center after rolling his Lincoln Navigator early Monday morning.

Vincete Obregon Jr., 26, was northbound on Farm-to-Market Road 236 when the crash occurred about 3 a.m. near Beck Road West, according to the Department of Public Safety report.

The 1998 Lincoln Navigator drifted off the right side of the roadway into a ditch and struck a concrete culvert, according to the report.

The vehicle became airborne and rolled about four times, coming to rest on its top, according to the report.

Obregon, who was alone in the vehicle, was taken to the hospital by Victoria Emergency Medical Service ambulance.

Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash, said DPS spokesman, Trooper Gerald Bryant.

Trooper Frank Casillas investigated the wreck.
