A Goliad woman remained hospitalized Friday after wrecking her motorcycle Sunday morning.
Denise Prescott, 55, was traveling north on Farm-to-Market Road 236 about 2:20 a.m. Sunday when she lost control and wrecked.
A friend reported the two had been at a bar in Mission Valley before the wreck, according to the crash report read by Texas Department of Public Safety Sgt. Mike Cantu.
Prescott, the payroll and benefits manager at University of Houston-Victoria, was taken to Citizens Medical Center and later transported to Brooke Army Medical Center.
The hospital would not release Prescott's condition, and UHV declined to comment citing privacy laws.
Cantu said the investigation of the crash continues as the DPS plans to subpoena the hospital for blood records.
Trooper Frank Mercado investigated the one-vehicle wreck.
Prescott was not wearing a helmet, according to the crash report.
