Road closures for week of June 27

Traffic downtown will be redirected on several streets beginning Monday as the downtown projects continue.

Beginning on Monday, Juan Linn Street between Main and Bridge streets will be reduced to one way, eastbound only for the construction of the sidewalk. The project will take about one week, weather permitting.

This construction is part of the $2,168,275 Main Street and DeLeon Plaza Improvements Project. The contractor is SER Construction Partners, of Pasadena.

Beginning on Monday, Bridge Street will be reduced to one lane northbound between Goodwin Avenue and Commercial Street for the construction of a water line. The project is expected to take one week, weather permitting.

This construction is part of the $2,599,428 Downtown Water and Sewer Line Replacements (Ph I - Projects 5 & 6). The contractor is SER Construction Partners, of Pasadena.

Beginning Monday, American Electric Power will close the intersection of South Main Street and South Street for about two weeks to install new underground power to the Power Generation Station. The construction should be completed over this two week period; weather permitting.

Beginning on Monday, Forrest Street will be reduced to one lane westbound only between Wheeler and DeLeon streets for the construction of a sewer line. The project is expected to take one week, weather permitting.

This construction is part of the $2,599,428 Downtown Water and Sewer Line Replacements (Ph I - Projects 5 & 6). The contractor is SER Construction Partners, of Pasadena.

Beginning on Tuesday, Centerpoint Energy will close Goodwin Street between Main and Liberty streets for about two days to replace an existing gas line. The construction should be completed over this two day period, weather permitting.
