  • Lovechild,
You keep right on thinking that the Texians were here illegally if it makes you feel better. Either way, the Texians won and guess what? This is now one of the 50 states in THE UNITED STATES of AMERICA. You can wave your Mexican flag and hope that someday Mexico regains ground that was once theirs. It's probably not going to happen. This part of the country will continue it's decline though. Of that you can be sure of.

The last time "any" administration gave 3 seconds thought to immigration was shortly after Pearl Harbor was attacked.

  • So, ALL illigal immagrants intered this country during "this administration" because all past administrations enforced the immagration laws? Really?

Ask Austin to enact laws requireing all employers to use the E-Varify system.

  • I'm not sure about the statement by someone that said 90 percent of the Texas army were illegal immigrants. Fact is, many of these Anglos were citizens of Mexico who had came to Texas under Mexico's colonization laws and actually took oaths to become Mexican citizens which many of them did. These days we have immigration laws in this country that are not enforced by this administration. But when you come to this country illegally, you are a law-breaker and criminal, and should be punished.

  • art,
do you call all those so-called texans who in 1836 died in Goliad, Refugio and the Alamo at the hands of the mexican army "law breaking criminals" since 90+% of the Texian army was comprised of illegal aliens in Texas?

  • If we didn't demand and consume the goods and services produced by illegal aliens or if the number of immigration visas for the people who come and stay here illegally to produce the goods and services that we demand and consume was increased, there wouldn't be a profit motive for smugglers like these.

  • "Illegal immigrants".
How about plain and simple: Law breaking criminals.
If I broke into your home and took what I think I need, it would be criminal on my part.
The same applies to, (as the VICAD calls) 'immigrants'.
    End of story.
