Rhythm of the Road comes home for Fourth concert

Stewart Mann and the Statesboro Revue is an acoustic group with a rock, blues and country vibe. The Austin-based band formed in 2007.
Charla Corn, of Fort Worth, will headline the concert. She made it to Hollywood in Season 2 of Fox's "American Idol" and was a finalist in Season 6 of NBC's "Nashville Star."
Rhythm of the Road will round out the evening with a performance immediately following the fireworks until 10:30 p.m.
Rhythm of the Road has shared the stage with Mark Chesnutt, Kenny Chesney, and most recently Brett Michaels.
On Monday evening, they will perform in front of fans in their hometown. The concert will start immediately after the firework show at the Victoria Mall.
"As soon as the last firework pops, you'll hear our first note," said Carlos Orosco Jr.
The band manager wants to encourage anyone who can stay later to stay. He said concert-goers will not be disappointed.
"We put on a show you wouldn't believe. We've got high energy," he said.
The band will play Top 40 country, classic country and rock music.
The band formed in 1990. Orosco Jr. said Rhythm of the Road is excited to come home for the 4th of July holiday.
"We have a lot of close friends and family supporting us. It's like a homecoming, "he said.
