• So very sad and to the murdered victims mother , she hopes that Celis's mother does better with her other kids.........that is like the pot calling the kettle black. Could she control her son? If she could then why was he hanging out with people like this?

  • It's what Jesus would have done, right?

(if there had been guns in 1AD Judea.)

  • I am with "MyTwoCents". If you are a proven killer then you need to die! Think of the money saved by putting to death the killers of the United States. The laws on murder are too lax. If you are a murderer with DNA evidence then you need to be shot between the eyes and in the heart and buried in an unmarked grave, to be forgotten forever.

  • I don't see how the school is responsible...they did not create him, they had nothing to do with his borderline IQ...his gene pool is responsible for that. What could the school do, they can't repair what has already been done, they can only work with what they have.

  • Come on folks, give Steve a break. He’s very good at what he does and very entertaining when it comes to dealing with the natives (local good ole boys).

  • Mr. Tyler can wear big, floppy clown shoes, a rainbow wig, and an enormous red nose for all I care. I'm just glad he is getting murderers put behind bars.

  • Sad when parents don't do their job in raising their children. The schools didn't also do their job; did they know in school that this individual had a borderline mentally retarded IQ? What did they do when he was in school - continue to fail him - was he a "dropout"? And yes, the DA needs to put forth a more professional appearance - why appear like he did - it says a lot about a person when he/she looks like that - you appear "too lax" for the job you are doing and for the "sentence" you are about to impose on someone.

  • Dear Steve Tyler: Please keep up the good job you are doing. It does not matter to me that your collar is unfastened, or your tie is loose, as long as you continue to perform the job you were elected to do. People voted for you and your prosecutorial abilities....not for your fashion style.

  • Aren't there more (younger) brothers who have expressed a desire to be like their big brother? I don't think we've heard the last of this bunch.
