Fox Elipsus has always imagined himself traveling the world and spreading a simple message - the message of peace and equality.

The singer and songwriter from Oxford, England will perform for free at Hastings Entertainment store on Friday as part of his Western World Tour.

Victoria is one of the almost 100 American cities the 29-year-old will be visiting.

"Victoria is on the way from Corpus to Houston, which are two big fan bases for me, and it's got a decent Facebook population," Elipsus said via e-mail. "Texas has always been wonderful to me. So we will see how Victoria goes."

The singer will perform songs from his newest album "The Road."

Past tours have taken him to Longview, Fort Worth, El Paso and San Antonio, which each brought out about a 100 people.

Elipsus' attributes that popularity through his primary promotion tool: social media.

Already, he has 110,000 fans on his Facebook fan page.

Elipsus is not sure what to expect in Victoria, he said.

"Those that have responded online have been really nice and supportive, so it could be a good crowd, but the response has been much lesser than in some other small towns, and so it could also be a very small crowd," Elipsus said.

Elipsus' smooth, expressive voice echoes out of the computer speakers once his webpage loads.

The lyrics are eloquent and talk about peace and the love for humanity and the environment, which is what his mission is all about, he said.

Equal right for humans and animals is also one of his driving forces, he said.

"My goal is to try and bring back meaning to music, to spread messages of peace and love and environmental awareness, to as many people as possible, to make a lot of people think, and to make a lot of people happy," he said.
