Donations Needed for Adopt-A-Pet

Pets are Worth Saving is partnering with Walmart to collect needed items for Adopt-a-Pet Animal Shelter beginning Monday and continuing through March 11. Members of PAWS will be located at the grocery entrance of Walmart on Monday passing out information and playing games; on Friday, they will be playing games and holding a bake sale to raise funds for spaying and nuetering.
Some of the items needed are: Bounty paper towels, fabric softener, Tidy Cat non-scoopable cat litter, Pedigree canned dog and cat food, pet treats, pet beds, blankets, pillows, sheets, towels, high efficiency liquid laundry detergent, empty spray bottles, air freshener, brooms, liquid dishwasher detergent, Glad tall kitchen drawstring bags 13 gallon, Hefty easy flaps trash bags 30 gallon, bleach, antibacterial hand soap, masking tape, permanent markers, chew toys and cat toys. Citizens may purchase needed items and place them in the collection boxes located at store exits.
