Sam Houston State University recognizes students

Sam Houston State University announced students from the area who have been named to the dean's and president's list for the fall semester.

Students named to the President's List must have a 4.0 GPA and be a full-time student; students named to the Dean's List must have a 3.5 or higher GPA.

Kathryn A. Roessler, of Victoria, president's and dean's lists. Roessler is majoring in music therapy.

Tara M. Alexander and Breanna S. Barnes, both of Victoria, to the dean's list. Alexander is majoring in interdisciplinary studies. Barnes is majoring in criminal justice.
