The outside of the old Memorial Hospital in Yorktown. Recently, the crew from the Travel Channel's "Ghost Adventures" program investigated the building.

The Travel Channel's "Ghost Adventures" team reveals what it found at Yorktown Memorial Hospital during an episode of the television show scheduled to air Friday night.

Building owner Phil Ross is excited about the show.

"They said they got enough evidence for three shows, but they will have to put in all into one," Ross said.

The promo for the show indicates, "The ghosts of the nearly 2,000 people who died there still linger at Yorktown Memorial. Zak, Nick and Aaron use their ghost hunting skills to uncover the truth behind the terrifying haunting."

Zak Bagans, Nick Groff and Aaron Goodwin make up the show's cast.

The tagline of the series is "Can you handle the lockdown?"

Self-considered "raw" and "extreme," the program originally began as an independent documentary television film.

They use a variety of equipment, including digital thermometers, electromagnetic field meters, hand-held digital video cameras, digital audio recorders and infrared night-vision cameras in an effort to document evidence to support paranormal events.

In September, the city of Yorktown cited the former hospital for numerous code violations and forced Ross to cease ghost hunting tours of the building.
