I am having friends over for dinner this evening so I won't be able to attend the meeting. I am strongly in favor of curbside recycling. It's good for the planet and it's good for the local landfill. BUT I have a novel approach for ther Mayor an dCC to thinbk about. Why penalize us that want to recycleby charging for the service and the extra can? Why not charge those who for whatever reason, don't want to participate! If Mr.&Mrs. Joseph D. Blow think it's:
Too much trouble
They are too lazy
It's a Socialist Plot
Then they should have to pay extra because by not recycling the landfill gets used up sooner which cost us all down the line. Just a thought.
