Construction continues on roads across downtown Victoria and some construction changes may affect residents' daily commute.
Beginning Monday, Bridge Street will be reduced to one-lane northbound between Forrest Street and Goodwin Avenue for construction of a water line. This project should take about two days, depending on weather.
Also being reduced is DeLeon Street between Santa Rosa Street and Forrest Street. This project is scheduled to take about two weeks.
Both projects are part of a $2.5 million downtown water and sewer line replacement project, according to a city press release.
Drivers should use alternate routes to get to businesses and parking lots. Delays can be expected in work zones and on-street parking in those zones is prohibited.
