Best Pizza: Pizza Hut

During its more than two decades in Victoria, Pizza Hut has devoted its time here to providing a superior product to its customers, said Navarro manager Mary Reyna.

"I started out as a cook here and I always took pride in my work. Now that's what I teach my staff when training them - to take pride in what they do," she said.

That work ethic, along with using fresh ingredients and treating customers well, is what keeps patrons coming back.

"We tell them not to serve something that they wouldn't serve their own family, and we make sure guests are treated like family when they're here. Because if it wasn't for them, we'd be out of a job."

Whether you build your own pizza or choose from their "lovers" menu (pepperoni lovers, meat lovers, cheese lovers, etc.), you can expect fresh vegetables and topics, cooked to perfection each time, she said.

The Navarro location renovated its store in 2008, Reyes said, and the Northeast Zac Lentz Parkway store opened in 2007.
