I know i just forgot her. I use to work for the FD. I know how it is. We should ask what happened to the captain that hit on a rookies wife? Oh wait they talked her in to taking back it back. Oh i could go on and on.
@letmakevicbetter---first they need to give rid of the city manager...shes a joke...and dont you know that NO TOLERENCE only applies to SOME employees and not all??? You should know that the higher ups in this town play favoritism...Rules only apply to some and not ALL...@Gibson---what a shame...if the citizens of Vic knew what I know they would be apalled by the decision made for these 2 firefighters but how others have gotten away with stuff worse than this....makes you wonder doesnt it? Only thing I know is that the others that have gotten away with inappropriate behavior will stand accountable one day...its more ashame that some of these inappropriate behaviors come from people of rank...'nuff said...the poor choices of few make the good choices of many become overlooked and forgotten unless of course you need them...
Wow what a tragedy. The sad thing about this situation is the citizens of Victoria will never know the truth behind this story. Just another example of favoritism of some employees over others. This is going to be a black eye on an excellent department. If every COV employee were held to the same standard that these two guys are being terminated for grass wouldn't get cut, trash would be left in the streets, streets wouldn't get fixed, no police to patrol streets, and fire stations would close doors. Makes me wonder why anyone would want to work for the COV. Doesn't sound that appealing...
What are your plans for the railroad being used on the two guys that lost there jobs today?
What a great thing for the city! Out with the bad and underhanded and in with the good. Some one that put his time in and worked his was up. I have so hope for this city now. Lots of new management. Now we need a new mayor and a few new city council members and we are set.
