Wings of Freedom: Living History Tour schedule of events

Friday

Noon - Gates open

Noon to 5 p.m. - Aircraft display, vendors

2 to 3 p.m. - Bombers fly-in. Flying in on the bombers will be WWII heroes Bill Buchanan and Capt. A. J. High, as well as Marine Cpl. Sabastian Vasquez of Tivoli, wounded in Iraq.

2 to 5 p.m. - Aircraft display and tours

5 p.m. to sunset - Flights

Saturday

Sunrise to 9 a.m. - Flights

9 a.m. - Gates open

9 to 11 a.m. - Victoria chapter of the Experimental Aircraft Association offering free flights to Young Eagles (18 and younger). Email membership@eaa340.org for advance reservations.

9 a.m. to 5 p.m. - Aircraft display and tours, vendors

9 a.m. to noon - WWII Heroes: Glenn McDuffie (Kissing Sailor), Bill Buchanan and Capt. A. J. High signing autographs in gazebo

2 p.m. - FM-2 Wildcat Demonstration (simulated bomb runs and fly-bys)

3 p.m. - Drawing for free ride on choice of B-17 or B-24 and two round trip tickets to Houston on Colgan Air (Entry information available at the gazebo.)

5 p.m. to sunset- Flights
