Not a threat to society? He's a gang thug. What do you mean he's not a threat? By definition, he's a threat. And, by the way, being a gang thug isn't a "mistake." Being a gang thug is a choice that a person makes and he must live with the consequenses of that choice. How is it that some people make the choice to go to school, get a job and make a career, raise a family and be a responsible citizen while somebody else makes the choice to join a gang, become a thug and end up in prison? Is life in the gang such a thrill that it is worth either being murdered or looking forward from your twenties to spending most of your life in jail. WOW! Those few years on the street before you're carried off to the Huntsville Hilton must be very special.

You are just as dumb as the rest of the idiots who post shyt on here, yes I think he deserves to pay for his mistake of what they said he didn't do, but you got to understand he wasn't a threat to society, other people violate and get 30 days in jail....it's about fairness honey so don't tell me what I already know

Why do you have it in your head that he was sent to prison to make a point? As I said before, he knew what the terms of his probation were before he was released. He knew he had to change his address anytime he relocated, right? Evidently there was some reason he failed/refused to inform the proper authorities about his new address. Looks more like he was the one trying to make a point... -

Be careful what you say because you never know what life may bring you, things can change in the blink of an eye...talkin about others isn't the answer to solving your own faults or problems because none of us are saints here. Learn that people make mistakes and yes they all pay for it in the end one way or another, including you. So think before you speak, or at least know the whole story first before you start judging ANYONE. As I said before and will say it again he was not out here killing or robbing anyone, hell he didn't even get into any trouble, so its really sad to take away a father from his kids just to make a point

hvilletx...Tell you what -- you stick with your friends and I'll stick with mine. I don't know a single person who has been convicted of a felony or a misdeameanor punishable by jail time. None of my friends are required by law to notify the local police of their address or report to a state official once a month to verify employment. When my friends see a cop, the only thing they do is check their speedometer. I don't know people who join associations that would require them to commit crimes to prove themselves worthy and if they decide to leave the organization, they can do so without worrying about being murdered for doing so. So, no, I won't kiss your a*% or Rosales', but I'll continue to pay my taxes to keep his worthless a*% eating three times a day and to provide a bed to sleep in. Wonder how many a*%s he'll get to kiss while he's in the Huntsville Hilton?

hvilletx: How in the hell do you know what this punk was thinking? He is a predator of the worse kind he has a criminal mentality and he wanted to be under the radar by now letting them know where he was living. This type of predator are the ones you want off the street da. As far as prison goes he will not get much respect for raping a child same as having sex with one in my book I do not see him going far MM do not like having attention bought to themselves. So good luck punk don't pick up the soap when you get there.

hvilletx..."Really is all that necessary?"
Yes, it is. I find it interesting that there is someone who is willing to defend a gang thug. "Mr. Rosales..." Calling a gang thug mister seems to offer a lot of respect for someone who deserves none. Do you have any other gang buddies whom you respect and defend?
While in most instances of a guy having sex with a 16 year old girl, I'd not get too upset about it unless it was forceable rape. In the case of a gang thug, ANY infraction, spitting on the sidewalk, any violation of probation, possession of a single joint, is good enough to get'em behind bars -- in my humble opinion.

hvilletx-
The guy knew that if he didn't following the stipulations of his probation then he would go to the clink, right? He had specific rules that were assigned directly to him and he failed to comply. They break one rule and no one notices and then on to the next one and so on. That is how repeat offenders slip through the cracks and end up in the same position that got them into trouble in the first place. No excuses, period. On to prison with this one and hopefully they are on to the next one...

Really is all that necessary? Somebody always trying to make a name for themselves, this guy might have been a registered sex offender but he wasnt out here trying to mess with any girls, he just didnt change his address. There are sex offenders who got out of prison and are in our society right now stalkin little kids, thats who needs 16 years, not Mr. Rosales. Mexican mafia or not, he wasn't hurting anyone just taking care of his family.

the Mexican Mafia DO practically run many small towns in TX...the only place they are even MORE powerful is from inside prison....eliminate the profit and money from the lifestyle and you will begin to address the core issue.....GLAD THIS GUY IS OUT OF SIGHT, but I also know that this sentence will actually work to INCREASE his power and "status" in prison and here on the streets...
