Way to go!!!! Sometimes we have to take matters into our own hands. Where were the cops? Eating or parked somewhere as always.

Good job Mr Ralston!!
I agree with the consensus here that Mr. Ralston should've took better aim but he may have been thinking about the Joe Horn/Pasadena thing and didn't want the attention, I guess depending who the intruders were.
You would hope to think these guys will think twice before attempting something like this again but if this is their "line of work", probably not.

I think he shot to soon. He should have killed the intruders! He could have done so legally in Texas, protecting his property. If there is a next time aim for the legs that way they can't run away. Let them lose their legs at the knees and give them something to think about for the rest of their lives if they were not killed on the spot.

Great job Mr. Ralston! You kick butt! -
A friend of mine in the oil field told me that an oilfield supply company was robbed in or around Port Aransas recently, same thing...they were after copper.
What is sort of funny, though, is the security cam caught one of these guys trying to cut a major electric line with bolt cutters and it shocked the **** out of him.

Mr. Ralston...You need to spend some more time at the range practicing. When you let thugs escape, all you do is move the crime to someome else who might NOT have a shotgun. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad you were able to protect your stuff, but now somebody else is gonna get robbed by this bunch.
