  • Siub, what is your problem? Does your information come to you in the line at a checkout counter? It there a bridge missing a troll somewhere?

  • Thank you for your service too Vet43!

  • One in the head and two in the chest, now that's the way to begin a celebration. Then of course throw the corpse over the side in the finest muslim tradition - and then shout next! That's priceless!

  • Hicktoria. USAF 63-67. Proud to give you a ride. Different color uniform. Same color blood.

  • Thank you for your service Hicktoria! I was raised in the Marines, lots of respect for ya!

  • Hictoria .... Once a Marine, always a Marine. You may no longer get your paycheck from Uncle Sam, but you are still a Marine. The Marine Corps doesn't make sergents out of just anybody; you had to be something special to earn those stripes. Thank you for your service.

  • Nope. Wrong. Toeing the line in SK doesn't get you a slap on the back. Sorry, but that's the truth. When NK goes nuts, then you can have all the kudos you want. Real sorry about how your service went, "vet", but REMFs are REMFs and there is no story here on how this changed in the last day. You must be AF.

  • I agree with any celebration. I remember footage of Bin Laden celebrating the deaths of over 3000. Three Cheers for his death!

  • And who paid for the "gittin"?
Yes, ultimately, the taxpayers.....So, we got him.

    May 3, 2011 at 9:43 a.m.
  • tru dat, vet, tru dat

    May 3, 2011 at 9:07 a.m.
  • Wrong. The United States "got" him. The guy that fueled the choppers "got" him. The troops on the line in S. Korea "got" him.

Sadly, some folks will never "get" it.

  • I pay for a percentage of the SEALS, ergo I did a percentage of it.

Hmmmmm. NO. The Seals did the job. Granted the spooks found him, but the Seals went in. Not you, not me.

  • The term "we" here obviously means the USA.
It doesn't mean one person or one group. It was a tremendous amount of effort by a combination of groups of people for years. The Seals performed an extremely dangerous task, but I'm pretty sure that such an endeavor wouldn't be successful with any weak links in the chain - and I would think any of those Seals would tell you the same thing.
    It's called Teamwork.

  • What's with the headlines? "HOW WE GOT HIM". Who's we? Give credit where credits due. The Seals did an awesome job. Give them the honor of what they have done. Not we.

  • Hate what the man stands for , not the man. Be satisfied justice was accomplished. No reason to be happy or glad. Be determined: there's still a war to be won.
