No where in the story did they mention that they found an operating meth lab. No where in the story did it mention that there was meth actually found in the house, and the boys that were arrested were arrested because those were the ones that lived in the home, not for any other reason. You should be able to read the story provided and pick out all the BS, its clear as day. Also no where in the story does it mention that IF these kids were operating a meth lab, it somehow went unnoticed by the Calhoun County Sheriff's Dept, which is very literally right across the street. (I won't say not possible, because anything is possible, however, I will say that is HIGHLY, HIGHLY, unprobable.) The highly noxious fumes from meth labs are pretty noticeable, and since if an operating meth lab blows up, depending on the size and sophistication, it can level a house, I'm pretty sure that would be something looked into by the sheriffs dept long ago, not on a "hunch" by our stellar PD.

I know one of the people living there- this was not a "meth lab", there may have been illegal activity but there was no "meth lab." They were not making meth. That is what a meth lab is. This is BS that was provided by the Port Lavaca Police Dept (like just about everything they do) and sensationalized by the media. Don't believe it.
