MID-COAST FAMILY SERVICES
Riverside Park will be filled with the sounds of laughter and music on May 14 as Mid-Coast Family Services hosts Family Fun Fest.
The fundraising event, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the special events area at the park, will feature a little something for everyone.
The Crossroads Cruisers will have a classic car show. Entertainment will be every hour including performances by the Victoria College jazz band, Victoria Karate Academy, the West High School band and the East High School band drum line.
Activities include a volleyball tournament, face painting, hay ride, live animals, dunking booths and several inflatables.
In addition to popcorn, sno-cones and cotton candy, there will also be a cake walk. Barbecue sandwiches will be sold from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Admission to the event is free and game tickets are 50 cents each.

Mid-Coast Family Services is a nonprofit organization that resulted from a 1999 merger of the Women's Crisis Center and Mid-Coast Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse.
It works to eliminate family violence, homelessness and substance abuse.
The organization is conducting a capital campaign to raise funds to build a new crisis center.
