Roberttx...I'm glad you think the costs of this trial are funny. A bunch of tax money went into this and that's a crying shame. I was the forman on a jury a few years ago and the defendant was accused of possession of crack cocain. I don't remember the weight, but the "rock" was smaller than a breath mint. Sigh...our tax dollars at work. By the way, we found her guilty.

That's a fine justification of a jury trial. All this tax money spent on someone with a possession of less then 10 bucks of an illegal drug.. so, the trial is going to cost the taxpayers what?? 4-5,000.00 dollars at least? Not including incarceration and probation, etc.. that makes perfect sense. our dollars at work.. whew..

that's quite a large quantity and he deserves the maximum punishment which should be a small fine!
