Saturday's Victoria school board elections had a voter turnout of 756 people. Incumbent the Rev. Kevin VanHook received 248 votes to win District 1 trustee. His opponent, Jake Flores, received 65 votes. In the District 3 race, incumbent Lou Svetlik received 314 votes compared to Garland Smith's 129 votes. A story on Page A1 on Monday cited the early voting totals.
