    iPads...not on my tax dollar. The council maybe needs 9 computers. 6 for council members, 1 for the city manager, 1 for the mayor, 1 for the attorney.

    The costs printed by the advocate are a little misleading. Is that $1500 PER COMPUTER? Are they using photoshop and doing a bunch of video editing? I'm pretty sure that's $699 per iPad (that's $6300 total). There are already monitors there, all you need is a $200 desktop per person for basic word processing and browsing.

    Please stop finding ways to waste money.

  • City Council does not need i pads, what they need to get is some common sense,they are just a bunch of chickens running around with their heads cut off, tell them to buy them with their own money and see if they need them then.
