  • Previous arrests+previous court costs including free lawyer+probation costs+car chase+arrest+court costs including free lawyer+room and board at Ramsey prison unit for 7 years+medical and dental care for 7 years+taxes on drug sales+odds and ends I missed= $12 million dollars
I think we should call it even.
In Saudi, he would have been hung in the public square for the first offense so he should be thankful.

  • This is absolutely ridiculous. The officer's dash cam video was published on this site and even nationally on TruTV on TWO television shows. This criminal did not get out of the car with his hands up as his lawsuit claims. He's just wasting the taxpayers money.

  • I'm just sayin' that if you'e the victim of a real crime, you should report it in a timely manner. As for as the broken bones, I sincerely hope they happened BEFORE he was cuffed. I really do. Believe me or don't, I hope the cops didn't take out some frustration on a handcuffed prisoner. I'm not sayin' Victoria cops have ever done that sort of thing, but it has happened in Houston when I lived there. I don't know about a distaste for law enforcement, but I don't trust them as much as some on this forum do.

  • www, are you seriously trying to lump an alleged victim of sexual assault with an alleged victim of police brutality? You've made some pretty crazy statements in the defense of "alleged" criminals, the Yorktown/Cuero pool perv comes to mind, but this has got to be the most out there.

It's not uncommon for victims of sexual assault/molestation to not come forward for many years because of fear, emotional damage, embarrassment, shame, etc. How often do you hear of a victim of assault by a police officer waiting years to come forward? Not too many I'm sure.

You seem to have a pretty big distaste for law enforcement.

  • Hey...no problemo Gheni. For the skeptics sakes just ask for a copy of Talamontez' and other responding officer's videotapes. Then post them and let us all judge for ourselves. If you get the "Oops... camera malfunctioned...or "We don't have em anymore" then ask Tyler for copies. Surely there was some evidence that sent this guy to the pen, yes?

  • Let's see...guy gets arrested and claims that he was assaulted by the police. He was taken to the hospital at the time of his arrest, but does not file a suit or make a complaint for nearly 2 years. Seems to me like he would have played this card a lot sooner if there was any validity to his accusations.

  • I agree the guy is a punk to run from the law, but woofwoof is right, if the guy was in handcuffs and did not resist, then he may have a case, unfortunately.

  • This is a joke and we the hard working tax payers are suckers.
I am sorry to say I know this jerk. If he does get awarded this money then maybe the so called government can make him give all back in child support for all ten children he has fathered.

  • Let me guess...the taxpayers are going to pay for this absurd lawsuit, just as they (and by they I mean us) had to pay for his trip to the hospital. What is wrong with this picture?

  • oh please! he has got to be kidding!
