Powered by Man to Man Ministries, Men at the Cross Conference is coming to the Victoria Community Center on Friday, for an evening of man-friendly fellowship.
The event is open to men ages 13 and above, and will include guest speakers Joe White, David Cobb, Rick Rigsby, Jon Sheptock and Norm Miller.
"The whole intent of this this is to love a man to Jesus; to show him Christ's love is more important than anything I could ever give him," Man to Man Ministries organizer Glen Dry said. "This is a who's-your-mentor type of conference."
Men at the Cross is a nationwide Christian movement designed specifically to grow men in their spiritual journeys with Christ.
White will lead the Cross Builder and Take the Nation sessions; A Man and His Mentor will be led by Rigsby, and A Man and His Ministry will be led by Miller.
For teenage boys, a special breakout group led by White and Sheptock is designed to encourage young men in defending their faith, maintaining sexual purity, and becoming radically committed to Christ.
"We're about building up spiritual leaders to build up strong families," Dry said.
Tickets are $39 and are on sale at the Bible Book Store, 6703 N. Navarro St., or at menatthecross.org, and includes White's book "One 2 Won: Crosstraining." Students and pastors are admitted free.
Doors open at 5:15 p.m. and the conference begins at 6 p.m.
