If every idiot driver in Victoria had to serve jail time for poor driving, our streets would be pretty empty, and our jail would be over-crowded. I don't think she should be facing jail time, but perhaps stiffer financial penalties would deter people from driving like morons. Good call on driving restrictions also. If you have ever been in an accident caused by someone who was driving like a total idiot, you might feel a little different.

Oh please people you must have never had an accident, and it was an accident even if it was her fault. You that judge may have this happen to you someday and what would you think if people wrote the things you are wrtiing. Get a real life please. I am thankful that there was no one killed in the wreck. Because that something that person will have to live with for the rest of her life if she took someone life . So give her a break. She didn't turn in front of the truck on purpose, I am sure. And she wasn't drinking.

Are you kidding me that people actually think the "red mercedes driver" should have her license suspended or even worse punishment such as jailtime??? Are you kidding? This was an ACCIDENT! They happen every minute of everyday in every city...it is reported in the Victoria Newspaper everyday. If everyone who has an accident and it is perhaps their fault, should then serve jailtime due to that "accident"...boy we would be in trouble. There would not be enough room in the world to house all the terrible criminals...people...relax.

Mind you, this is the first ACCIDENT the "mercedes driver" has been involved in. Another thing that you all should be aware of is that it was an accident. Accidents happen every minute. Forgive this "mercedes driver" if she is HUMAN!!

Oh Please, suspend this young lady's license. I was an ACCIDENT and no one was killed. Alcohol was not a factor as described in the article.
