I find it interesting that TAMU officials always say no comment because they can't lobby.
Answering questions with facts is hardly lobbying.
Surffree,
"Seems A&M was taking this seriously..... There are comments about what IT systems UH-V was running (See "PeopleSoft" comments) and the costs of performing a technical transition, questions if the A&M people could start to meet with their UH-V counterparts."
Not sure this constitutes a "serious" position. If you are a state agency and the state tells you to consider it you will start looking at what would be involved.

I missed where they said they would let the local blogger use the TAMU logo, but I did see where they weren't going to tell them they didn't have permission to use it.
I guess it depends on which end of the periscope you're looking through.

Also, they agreed to let supporters use their "mark" which I assume is the block A&M logo.

though I have relocated, I lived most of my life in Victoria and follow developments there. In my view the voters of Victoria need to replace the mayor, DA, Sheriff, and Morrison next time they come up for election. JMHO

Looks to me that the A&M system is not really looking to hard at Victoria as some locals thought. Who wants to locate to the city that the only thing they have going for them is a mad hatter DA and boots to represent the city.
