Adopt-A-Pet of Victoria

Care to share cuisine with your favorite canine?

It's possible at the Adopt-A-Pet of Victoria Dine With Your Dog event on Nov. 16.

The four-legged feeders will dine on a three-course gourmet meal, while hungry humans will be served a three-course taste treat of their own.

The fundraiser will be from 6 to 8 p.m. at the PumpHouse Riverside Restaurant and Bar, 1201 W. Stayton St.

Tickets are $75 per person (and dog) or $125 per couple.

For more information call 361-676-7441 or 361-575-7387.

Adopt-A-Pet, 8215 Houston Highway, is a no-kill pet orphanage and adoption service. It cares for more than 100 animals daily.

The organization's purpose is to rescue, rehabilitate and find loving homes for homeless animals.

A low-cost spay and neuter program is also available as part of the ongoing efforts to reduce the number of unwanted puppies and kittens that are born.
