VC's College Night to provide information from more than 30 schools

College Night 2011 at Victoria College will be Thursday in the VC Sports Center gym.
VC transfer students and local high school students, along with their parents, are encouraged to attend the event to get information about admissions, financial aid and transfer options offered by more than 30 Texas colleges and universities.
Students will have an opportunity to visit with many representatives from major Texas colleges and universities all in the same evening.
"VC's College Night is included on the Texas Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers recruiting schedule and consequently has become an incredible recruiting opportunity for several colleges," said Tisha Sternadel, who has coordinated the event for the past 10 years.
VC offers more than 40 areas of study and numerous transfer plans leading to a variety of associate degrees and transfer options. VC's Career & Technical and Allied Health programs allow students to enter the workforce right away.
Participating colleges and universities include Victoria College, Chamberlain College of Nursing, Coastal Bend College, Del Mar College, East Texas Baptist University, Howard Payne University, Lamar University, Sam Houston State University, Schreiner University, Southwestern University, Tarleton State University, Texas A&M University-College Station, Texas A&M University-College Station's Department of Soil & Crop Sciences, Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, Texas A&M University-Galveston, Texas A&M University-Kingsville, Texas State University at San Marcos, Texas Tech University, Texas Wesleyan University, Tyler Junior College, United States Air Force ROTC, United States Military Academy at West Point, University of Houston, University of Houston-Clear Lake, University of Houston-Victoria School of Nursing, University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, University of St. Thomas, University of Texas at Dallas, University of Texas at San Antonio, University of Texas Health Science Center - Houston School of Nursing, University of Texas Medical Branch School of Nursing, Wharton County Junior College.
