If you look at this closely it was not a Commissioner's Court decision to impose this burden on the people of Goliad County -- it was solely the decision of the County Tax Assessor Collector.

In my view it is simply outrageous to expect people to jump through all these hoops and go to the expense that is required to comply with this mandate!

There is too much here not to comment.
First, Goliad makes a requirement to register trailers, but doesn't provide the funding to enforce that requirement. For some completely unexplained reason, Victoria picks up the cost of enforcing Goliad's laws. Really, VA, couldn't you ask WHY IN THE WORLD ARE WE DOING THIS? There is no reason in the world Victoria has to pick up for Goliad's failures.
Second, "A story in the Nov. 23 Advocate had confusing information." Really? Which story would that be? VA, could you help narrow down which story was confusing?
