  • Fortunately the mother, children, and Bear escaped without injuries. I saw an association on the net for victims of electrical fires: ADVIDE-EFVA.

  • I don't see any judgement here either. It it a fact. Some people do not even know renter's insurance exists and they don't know how affordable it is.

  • Before my mom went to an assisted living home, she stayed in my rent house. She got hers through Germania. She only had around $5000 worth of her own things in that house and hers was under $9/month.

  • Familyman - open the yellow pages, there are pages and pages of insurance agencies to call and get renters insurance from. If you live within the city limits (of Victoria) it would cost approx $200 @ year for $30,000 coverage. Small price to pay.

  • To the Victoria Advocate- Would you please do an article about renters insurance. To help people find it and purchase it for themselves. Help your community save itself from a big loss. I would like to know where to go. My insurance company does not offer "renters" insurance.

  • This is a prime example why everyone should have renters insurance. You can at least start over when a tragedy strikes
