99 years for arson. What's wrong here. We have murders, molesters and others that commit worse crimes that get no time but 5 yrs probation. Judge Velasquez should be presiding over the murder and pedaphiles cases so we can all feel safe.

Get this sick person off the streets! He needs to be locked away for everyones protection. He should have been tried for attempted murder for all those that were living in the complex. Glad he is out of the public domain. Will he be able to get probation and if so, when? Hope not.

Okay, class, pay attention, now.
"The defendant lived in a multi-unit dwelling with other tenants."
He set fire to a closet in an apartment, not a tool shed. That means all those connected to the building might have lost their property and/or lives. And then there were those pesky prior felonies. We can be thankful no one was injured.

Well i'm glad to know my closet won't be set on fire for the next 99 years, while the creepy looking guy who likes to walk around playgrounds and school-yards is on his 6-year probation. :)
