After spending the last three years at Kingwood Country Club, the Texas Senior Open will play for the first time in Victoria, teeing off Wednesday at 8 a.m. Here's what you need to know to follow the action at Victoria Country Club this week:

QUICK FACTS

This is the 15th year of the tournament, and its third location. The event spent its first 11 years at South Padre Island Golf Club and the last three were held on the Forest Course at Kingwood Country Club.

The only golfer to win the tournament more than once is Danny Edwards, who won it in 2006 and 2008.

The event will be held in Victoria this year and at least the next two after a contract was agreed on earlier this year.

There was no 2001 tournament; it was cancelled because of the collapse of the Queen Isabella Bridge that November.

Players will be using golf carts to get around the course.
