One man was transported to Citizens Medical Center after a wreck on North Navarro Street.

William Coffey, 85, was crossing east on North Navarro Street on Whispering Creek Drive in a black Ford truck when he collided with Lawrence Barnes, 40, traveling south in the inside lane of North Navarro Street in a gray Toyota Camry at 2:17 p.m., said Senior Patrol Officer Travis Hanson.

Both drivers, of Victoria, claimed to have green lights at the time of the wreck. Because there are no witnesses or cameras, no fault will be assigned or citations given, Hanson said.

Coffey was transported with non-life threatening injuries to Citizens Medical Center by emergency service personnel, but his passenger and Barnes were not seriously injured, Hanson said.
