Volunteers sought to advocate for nursing home residents

Volunteers are needed to work as advocates for nursing home residents.

Ombudsmen visit nursing homes to promote quality care to protect residents' rights.

Free initial and ongoing training is provided and no prior experience is required.

Volunteers are needed in Victoria, Calhoun, DeWitt, Goliad, Gonzales, Jackson and Lavaca counties.
