H-E-B has issued a voluntary recall for 5 oz. packages of H-E-B Spinach Spring Mix Bagged Salad, as well as deli items containing the spinach.
Taylor Farms, the vendor that produces the spinach, notified the store of the products' possible contamination, according to an H-E-B news release.
No reports of illness related to the products have been reported, according to the release issued Thursday.
H-E-B is committed to the highest food safety standards for customers, said Winell Herron, the company's group vice president of public affairs and diversity.
"We want to take every precaution necessary to ensure the integrity and quality of the products sold in our stores," Herron said.
Customers can return recalled products to any H-E-B or Central Market store for a full refund.
Those with concerns can contact H-E-B Customer Relations at 210-938-8357 or 1-800-432-3113.
