UHV class, Children's Discovery Museum host Halloween traditions party

University of Houston-Victoria Associate Professor Carol Klages and her undergraduate social studies class are having a party, from 6-8 p.m. Friday, at the Children's Discovery Museum, 204 N. Main St., to introduce Halloween traditions around the world.

Tickets are $7.50 per person, adults and kids. Children under 2 are free.

Activities include live demonstrations, food, snacks and treats. Participants are encouraged to wear costumes.

Space is limited. Advance reservations are required. Call 361-485-9140 to reserve tickets.
