    Jail and prison may not be the ideal, "perfect world" answer, but it does provide some protection for innocent people who may be victimized by a mental incompetent.

    It doesn't happen often but I agree with this editorial 100%.

    This young man grew up in an adjoining neighborhood to mine. I had several encounters with him and several times we carried on a conversation usually about pets. He is in need of medical treatment not jail. I hope something can be done to get him the medical attention he needs so his life can have some level of quality.
