As of Monday, Jose Luis Benavides has an outstanding warrant for sexual assault of a child. Benavides is a 36-year-old Hispanic man who is 5 feet, 1 inch tall and weighs 140 pounds.

The general public should never attempt to capture arrest or detain any wanted person.

It is against the law to harbor, hide or assist a wanted person in any way with avoiding arrest.
