The Victoria 100 Club's mission is simple - to help those who help us.

And it needs your help.

Since 1979, the Victoria 100 Club has not only provided assistance to law enforcement families who have lost a loved one in the line of duty, but also aided law enforcement agencies, fire departments and emergency medical personnel with needed equipment and funds for training.

Most recently, in October 2009, the Victoria 100 Club assisted the family of Victoria County Sheriff's Deputy Timothy Olsovsky who died in the line of duty.

The club also continues to offer assistance in other ways. In 2010 it donated funds to the Victoria Fire Department for the purchase of rescue tools and to the Raisin Volunteer Fire Department for fire engine repairs.

In recent years, the club has purchased drug dogs, automated heart defibrillators, hazmat suits, surveillance cameras and other needed equipment for a variety of law enforcement agencies, fire departments and emergency medical personnel in Victoria County.

The Victoria 100 Club raises all of its money through membership dues and it needs members. Currently there are 281 members in the entire county and the goal is to double the membership.

Individual memberships are $100 annually and other membership levels, including corporate, are also available.

These include a joint membership at $150 annually, life membership for $1,000 or a joint life membership for $1,500.
