The Victoria Rotary Club awarded seven Paul Harris Fellowships in June.

Members of the club receiving the honor were John Brill, Sara Hounshell, Wes Hendrix and Dennis Brown.

They were presented the awards for outstanding service to their communities and the world.

Non-Rotarians receiving the award were Dale Fowler, president of Victoria Economic Development Corporation, for his work to develop Victoria's economy; Selina Reyna, principal, for her leadership at DeLeon Elementary in implementing the Early Act-First Knight program sponsored by Victoria Rotary Club; and Ginny Stafford, chief executive Officer for Mid-Coast Family Services, for her work in helping women and families in crisis in Victoria.

Earlier in the year, the Victoria Rotary Club was granted a Rotary District Simplified Grant for Mid-Coast in the amount of $4,500, and the Victoria Rotary Foundation granted them an additional $1,000.

Victoria Rotary Club was chartered in 1919 and has served the community and world for over 90 years.
