Does this give Suddenstink freedom to drop the SA station from their lineup?
The fix you suggested didn't last long because it seems Dish had a HD outage on September 13,2011. I did a local scan and picked up about 12 local channels(a lot of them didn't work) but lost Fox 19 and now channel 41. The error screen stated that Dish was aware of the problem and to please refrain from calling.... That's an understatement because I've tried for 5 hours only to get a busy signal and their website "chat" feature was not working.
I'm at the mercy of Dish network.
"It's been a lot of work and a major expense to be able to bring this network to the people of our community,"
Another price hike in the future? Quality on several channels is terrible.
Thanks woofwoofYou are right, I set my off -air- antenna on the floor and the picture is fine.
On my setup which is rabbit ears plugged into a DISH DVR, the picture is good quality. New channels on your gudie will take a unknown amount of time before you can see programming. KAVU and KVCT were like this for years. Your signal strength for the new station should show at least a 75 or greater. You have two new channels and only one of them is broadcasting. It is 041.02. That is the one you want. Good luck.
My OTC channel 41 is terrible. I called Dish network for some answers but they said they did not recognize the OTA channel,so I don't get a guide. The newer DVRs do not let you set up your timers manually, so I won't be able to record a channel unless I start it and end it myself.
I was able to scan in the channel and initially the picture quality came in great but now it's distorted.... Is anyone else having a problem with the new channel?
Yes that as well..
Let's not forget SEC football -- if you're into that sort of thing.
Finally AFC football in HD!!!
