IM RICH
You need to be educated and I am about to school you. That’s right I said. Just because I am not a conservative doesn’t mean I am automatically a liberal. Your logic is similar to say if its not white, then it has to be black or if it is not summer, it has to be winter. I mean there is such thing as the color gray and the season fall. Have you are ever heard of Syncretism, Moderates, Centrist, Independents, and the Radical Middle? Have you? I mean it is you talking to me like I am stupid.
I view Liberalism and Conservatism as flawed concepts that only serves the few and not everyone. Unchecked Conservatism gave America slavery, Jim Crow, child labor, crony capitalism, Christian Dominion movement, Prison Industrial Complex, and neo-conservatism. What does liberalism bought to America? Abortion on demand, a false concept about global warming, socialism, a mandated Health Care law, and the welfare state.
Now, Mr. Jones. Do you want me to go in detail with you? I mean it was you who suggested I “don’t believe in anything and will fall for anything“.Abortion.

http://www.victoriaadvocate.com/weblo...Far as my profile picture, it was given to me by an old CONSERVATIVE college friend from Africa, who was celebrating black history and America in general. His words not mine. The intent is NOT to mock, but to honor. If you don’t like it…TOUGH !!! Now IAM RICH (aka Mr. Jones) , what lesson have you learned today? The lesson is that you don’t know what you are talking about.
Mr. Williams.

Mld.
I live in a conservative state and in a small ultra-conservative-libertarian area. When I turned on a radio it is a angry conservative voice spewing. When I opened up a local newspaper (ie: Victoria Advocate, Gonzales Cannon) it has local conservatives complaining on a nearly daily basis. This is the reason, I focus most of my attention on conservatives and the flaws of conservatism.
September 12, 2011 at 10:41 p.m. -
You went on a rant about conservatives, but forgot the liberal side of the story. I'm not calling you a liberal, even though you do have some of the posters wondering.
September 12, 2011 at 10:11 p.m. -
Mld.
I wasn’t born last night. I do know about the LA. TIMES columnist and your point is?? Second I am not a liberal.

September 12, 2011 at 8:31 p.m.
A liberal columnist from the LA Times wrote an opinion piece about "Obama the Magic Negro". Rush used that title to have a parody written about Obama. Don't forget to blame this liberal along with Rush. BTW, take a Xanax before someone that disagrees with you on this thread gives you a heart attack or stroke. -
Get a life weirdos.....!!!!

Bo Stinks.
I thought you were so concerned about your job and family that can only be on here a few times? You are not good at lying. Since it seems you want to go tit for tat. I’ll bite.
1)You said,” BO tells the Republican Party to get in the back seat.”
Here is my response; the Southern conservatives wanted him in the back seat by calling him Barack the Magic Negro.
2)You said,” his VP calls the Tea Party terrorists”
Here is my response; The Tea Party called him a Marxist, the Black Hitler, Socialist, and the anti-Christ.
3)You said, “He refers to his Anglo grandmother as a "typical white person”.
Here is my response; you don’t know his family nor is it your or my business. Tea Party Express leader call Obama a welfare pimp. I don’t hear you on that one.
4)You said, “he claims policemen tactics were "stupid" before there was an investigation”.
Here is my response; if the police arrested you for entering your own home, then don’t crying to me or to the world about someone violating your rights. I don’t hear you on that one.
5)You said, “has drunken labor union leaders threaten opposition”. Here is my response: The speech was made before the president appeared on stage. Second, didn’t Glenn Beck had made threaten claims on his TV Show? Also he attack the daughters of the President last summer. I don’t hear you on that one.
6)You said,” attends a church that claims the U.S. deserved 9/11.” Here is my response. Was he there at the time? It is proven that he was not in the church or in Chicago at the time. Yet, you ignore the fact that that White Southern Conservative pastors made the same gestures. You know Rev Farwell saying America deserves 9-11 because of the social issues (ie: Abortion) I guess you also forgot about Rev. Pat Robertson doing the same? What is the difference, Bo Stinks. I bet if the so-called Jerry Wright was White and conservative you would NOT say a darn thing.
Finally what about you Bo Stinks? MMMM What about you. You were the one who suggested that I am from the “hood”. What was that quote you told me earlier? Oh yea you said, “Keep that in the 'hood where it belongs.”VICTORIA ADVOCATE should require commenters to put their REAL NAME next to their statements. I cannot stand cowards hiding behind a computer.

Kyle.
Thank you. Someone is finally admitting that the President is a U.S. citizen. I hope this will bring much needed rain.
September 12, 2011 at 12:50 a.m. -
At least you now admit he's a citizen - that's progress!
September 11, 2011 at 11:27 p.m. -
How can there be unity in a country that has its most divisive citizen in the White House?
BO tells the Republican Party to get in the back seat, his VP calls the Tea Party terrorists, he refers to his Anglo grandmother as a "typical white person," he claims policemen tactics were "stupid" before there was an investigation, has drunken labor union leaders threaten opposition, attends a church that claims the U.S. deserved 9/11.
Very presidential.

What about callers to a certain Texas based hate talk show( Joe Pags Show) wanting to have that moat around Texas? Have all the facts before spewing. Heck, I would NOT united with a group of people singing “WRITEIN, the Magic Nergo”.
September 11, 2011 at 9:44 p.m. -
jasonbourne,
I did not single you out but if the shoe fits?
Fact is we are all guilty of not finding ways to find a center that we can all live with. It would seem that when some folks find a scab they just got to pick at it and then when it is infected we wonder why.
Our children are learning from what we say, do and even how we treat each other. Are we proud of that lesson?
September 11, 2011 at 9:08 p.m. -
I often ask myself "why would a politician go on MTV, or a late night show"?
The only answer I can come up with is so they can help Unite this Country!!!
Good night all!!!
September 11, 2011 at 9:05 p.m. -
Well, you nailed me vet43. I am single handedly tearing this nation apart from my 5 year old computer and two fingered typing skills.
I was here working secretly before terms like hanging chads showed up on our TV.
Uniting this country??? Look around you. We have politicians making fun of us silly Texans, cracking jokes about us wanting a moat around us. Did that sound like a unification speech to you?
September 11, 2011 at 8:55 p.m. -
Has anyone heard in the thread that we should become "One nation, under God, INDIVISIBLE, with liberty and justice for all." in many of the comments here? Why so much hate? How long can we exist with this level of brotherhood?

You are talking both sides out of your mouth. Far as Governor Perry is concern. He being white has nothing to do with it, but him being that “GOOD OLE BOY” is a problem. Nice try in using the race card is that all you have? You better find a chair, sit down, and be quiet until you have some real facts. -
It is heartbreaking that so many posters would rather use this day, Sept. 11, 2011 to bash anyone that they think is not good enough to stand with to unite our nation. Now we know where the problem is.................
September 11, 2011 at 8:36 p.m. -
I don't think you are dumb. I don't think about you at all.
You must have missed my point entirely. I'll stop wasting your time and mine trying to explain it.
Good luck with your "everyone is being mean to Obama"rant.
Oh BTW, have you noticed how much love everyone is showing Governor Perry. No they aren't calling him a muslim, non-citizen, or terrorist. They aren't exactly showering him with accolades though. Do you get angry when they say bad things about our Governor? He is a white guy so it probably doesn't matter as much, right???
Don't worry, the next President will have plenty of things wrong with him too. Hopefully whoever it is, he didn't inhale, or sleep with an office aid and try to make us think he didn't, or kill a girlfriend, or cheat on his wife, or embezzle money, or... gosh I could go on for hours like this. These politicians are pretty easy targets.

September 11, 2011 at 8:24 p.m.
What is so funny, that I was being honest in saying about the family reunion a month or so ago? Maybe just maybe, you can’t accepted the words I am writing because it didn’t make you look good; make me like foolish, or fit your narrative that you should be right at all times?
Mr. Williams. -
Jason Bourne.
You may think I am dumb, but do not talk to me like I’m dumb. I am fully aware of Michael Moore and the Dixie Chicks among others. I didn’t fall the wagon and I wasn’t born yesterday. Michael Moore is nothing more than a Socialist version of Rush Limbaugh. Far as the Dixie Chick are concerned I don’t care for them, not my taste. However it did showed how their CONSERVATIVE FAN BASE treated them by banning them.
Second you are lying to me, especially on your fourth paragraph. How many Presidents, Presidential candidates, or their wives were attack as being a Non-citizen, being a Muslim, a terrorist, or trying to enslave the white man? Do you?
People like you refuse to understand about other people. You also refuse to put on the shoes of the next man. Until then, you have nothing worthwhile to talk about.Mr. Williams.

Codyhare666.
We are talking about the unity of the American people as a whole, not parties. Second you just lied about the death of Osama and you have also lied about the work of Seal Team Six. Shame on you for that foolishness. I guess you pay too much attention to Infowars and that Lying nutjob ALEX JONES. I guess according to you. If I get elected for some office, I would be deemed a lair as well. Foolish nonsense.

Beamer's rallying call, "Let's roll," should never be forgotten because within that charge was the spirit of America.
September 11, 2011 at 11:02 a.m.
As many of you Nam Vets know...the rallying call, "Time to rock n roll" was often used in Nam upon getting ready to engage in a mission. I only wish this term was also so easily accepted by the American people as Beamer's rallying call. -
writein, I seem of remember Michael Moore, the Dixie Chicks, and a host of other performers that actually have nothing to do with anything except having access to a stage and large groups of people telling us all how wonderful George Bush was.
Have you forgotten all those fun times?
You can whine about people attacking Obama all you want. The only thing to blame for all the "apparent" hatred for politicians is the last 15 years of wide open communication for all Americans and a long history of politicians abusing their liberties.
Heck if a kid farts in class in some podunk school in nowhere Tennessee, we get to read and comment about it. We didn't have that ability 15 years ago. The haters and all those disagreeing with either party have always been there, they just get interviewed more in this wonderful world of total access we have now.
Don't even think for a minute that Obama is or will will be treated any worse than anyone else just because he has a different skin color. That may be a convenient way for you to express yourself but you are wrong.
People now get to see what stupid things our politicians do in the effort to fill their own pockets. Maybe Obama is different, but he has a lot of previous (Democrat & Republican) politicians before him that have abused the hell out of their power to clear our minds of. It won't be resolved in 4, 8 or even 50 years. People don't trust these guys because they are always showing us how little they really think about us.
I can't seem to forgive congressmen for voting themselves raises in the middle of the night or providing themselves lifetime free money even after they have been convicted of crimes that are ridiculous, or worse yet, pardoning their friends in high places as they leave office.
It isn't Obama!!! It's a history of abusing power that has Americans finding it difficult to trust anyone.

"No one wants to work anymore," except, according to the BLS, the 154.9 million Americans working and paying taxes.
"All these handouts." Please define "handouts".
And thank you for the solution to all our problems. Who knew it would be that simple. Simple being the key word.
September 11, 2011 at 9:14 a.m. -
Our goverment from city to USA needs to quit spend money on all these handouts. No one wants to work anymore, the Government can't support everybody.
September 11, 2011 at 8:24 a.m. -
There is every reason to believe that our nation can be unified, at least for the most part. It seems that the extreme on both the left and right are now under a microscope to reveal their motives. After reading the posts by codyhare666 we can see that holding pure negitive position is the core purpose of most of the folks that will never accept the opinion of others as being reasonable.
I have come to suspect the Tea Parties prime debate tactic is to keep screaming "Just cus I said so thats why I'am right!"
September 11, 2011 at 8:10 a.m. -
Under politician in the webster dictionary it should read greedy, heartless, scumbag.
September 11, 2011 at 4:30 a.m. -
The unity between the republicans and the democrats was because they made a lot of money off of 911. You really think bush wrote that speech he could barely read it. As for freedom hey I am all for it but we don't have very many freedoms left, with every law they pass it takes another freedom away from the americans. Osoma isn't dead and if he is it wasn't by the hands of the Americans. Do some real research and you will find the US government doesn't kill they're secret allies that make them billions and billions of dollars. and I don't care who is in the white house black white purple whatever else they say they care about the american public they are a fat liar the only thing you become president for is to get rich that's what every politician gets into the game for they dont care about nothing but money
September 11, 2011 at 4:27 a.m. -
IMRIch.
Here is a history lesson for you.
We can talk about freedom, but you’re ignoring “Responsibly”. If people want ANY REAL UNITY in this country and want to fix things within society, then people should be more respectful and understanding to one other. You suggesting bringing back Nazism or the Taliban ideals are laziness on your part. There was an era in America which I hope we could go back to. Do you know what Era in American history I am referring to? Here is a clue for you, almost 200 years ago (August 24, 1814), a Foreign Army invading the United States and the force later burn down the White House, the Capitol, and other landmarks. After that the American People banded together with a purpose and won. The Era that followed it lasted for nine years, IAM RICH. That Era was called the Era of Good Feelings. If they could banded together in the name of need, crisis, and of joy, why can’t we after the 9-11 and the Death of Osama, that actually stand shoulder to shoulder? We, as a nation, lack vision. I hope a return of such an era would last three times as long as the last one. We can go there if we be responsible with our freedoms, responsible with our disagreements, responsible with the tone we speak.
Mr. Williams.

Let me add on here to further my point. Let’s say another attack on par or greater than the one in 2001. I bet my bottom dollar. Hate talk show hosts, conspiracy theorist, and local nutjobs would strongly vote for impeachment charges and criminal charges against the sitting President while rehashing the birth certificate, his college transcripts, his so-called Muslim upbringing, and his family. Unity, my foot.
Mr. Williams.

If what you are saying is true, then why are we fighting among ourselves within minutes after Osama’s Death on May 2nd? Soon after Bin Laden was fish food, you have a people on the radio and on a certian Cable news network bashing the President right and left. So much for being united, friendly, and being as one as Americans. -
GOP LoveChild.
You must be reading my mind. Thinking back to the aftermath of Osama's death back May 1st...I hightly doubt there would have been a cry for unity. Yes folks I said it!!!!!!!!
