Family Fun Fest to benefit Children’s Discovery Museum

Sunday - Kids' seasonal consignment sale, noon to 4 p.m., National Guard Armory, 106 E. Mockingbird Lane. Portion of the proceeds benefit Children's Discovery Museum, www.goodasnewsale.com.
Oct. 1 - Habitat for Humanity Sweat Equity Challenge, Riverside Park, 361-573-2511.
Oct. 8 - Third annual Buddy Walk hosted by Down Syndrome League of Victoria, Riverside Park, 361-649-1196.
The annual Children's Discovery Museum of the Golden Crescent Family Fun Fest will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 1 in downtown Victoria.
Activities will include inflatables, vendors, children's entertainment groups, face painting, clowns, balloons, refreshments and more.
Also at the museum every Wednesday is WOW (What's On Wednesday) day with special programs each week.
Nov. 5 will feature Treasure Night, an adult fundraiser from 7:30 p.m. to midnight with entertainment by Clay Crockett.
